Lush Hair Extensions: VIVA FOREVER!

Chances are that if you were born in the 80's or early 90's, watched Top Of The Pops religiously each week and had a penchant for forming V Salutes, you were a MASSIVE fan of the Spice Girls. Well, it is now time to dig out your indecently short Union Jack mini dress a la Ginger Spice, tie your hair in pigtails with neon scrunchies (cringe) and celebrate the launch of the Spice Girls Musical - "Viva Forever" coming to London!!

All members of the Spice Girls reunited today to announce details of their first musical set to come to the West End in December later this year. Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Geri Halliwell assembled today at St Pancras Hotel, London, a pretty symbolic choice as this was the setting for their first video, 'Wannabe', in 1996.

The original Spice Girls earlier in London

Here's a little hairstyle file from their reunion today..

Emma Bunton goes for the classic side fringe - perfect for those blessed with an ample forehead

Mel C aka Sporty Spice with gorgeous ombre locks - not a hair bobble in sight!

Geri with a sophisticated strawberry-blonde blunt bob

Mrs Beckham is loving volumised 60's ponytails at the moment - and so are we!

Melanie Brown opted for a smoothed back bun

These ladies have all undergone dramatic transformations over the years - definitely for the better - and looked primped to perfection today. Let me quickly remind you that all four girls have not always been so immaculately turned out. When the Spice Girls first bounded onto the music scene in the late 90's, pre GHD's, their hairstyles were somewhat different..

Fully leather bound ladies.. Classy! Sporty Spice seems to be having a slight 'There's something about Mary' hair malfunction here

Mel B living up to her alter ego 'Scary Spice' in clashing animal prints

Here's a few more iconic hairstyles as sported by the girls throughout the years..

The POB - Posh bob

Mel B shows off her shiny scalp

Curl Power - Emma suits her bouncy waves

Centre partings with loose waves = the epitome of hair chicness and sophistication at the moment

Not her best look to date..

Geri Halliwell with sunkissed beachy waves. Love this colour on her!

Well I am very much looking forward to seeing the Spice Girls musical in December and hope to see some of you there!

Alex x
